Levi

The driving force behind the overall sound of Brain Dead, Levi gives the band it's direction staying true to his rock roots as influenced by his uncle Glenn back in Gary, Indiana.

"Kiss Alive II was actually ther first record me uncle played for me....I instantly feel in love with rock music only to find that my surroundings at the time didn't embrace my musical taste."  Due to this I ended up being this closet rock n roll kid while getting into Hip Hop, DJing, producing, etc

Levi eventually came to California back in the mid 90s....... met Na'irb (who was at the time also producing Hip Hop) and they became the musical direction for the hip hop group Street Bumz but eventually left to pursue other musical endeavors, more specifically - ROCK!

"This was a crazy journey because Nairb & I literally learned to play in a rented lockout together!  We spent about 2-3 years just jammin and basically learned to play by ear making our own original songs.  With all the rock music I religiously soaked up as a kid....sort of molded me and made my crash course in guitar playing feel very second nature.  It felt great to finally be doing what I really loved the most regardless of what peers thought or, tripping on the race/music bullshit."

With his unique voice and attention grabbing guitar riffs, Levi definitely adds the bite to the overall BDB sound making it effortless for Sideshow to slide into the groove while creating a poly-rhythmic universe for Na'irb to dance around within.

Always into the mechanics of sound recording and quality, Levi worked in a few studios eventually leading to the opening of his own studio with Na'irb and Sideshow called Glenn's Basement in downtown Los Angeles, where BDB sharpens their chops and provide services to up and coming artist.
